Paddy Power delays New Jersey entry

Paddy Power confirmed that it is delaying its entry into New Jersey’s newly regulated online gaming market, citing a ‘high level’ of competition.Chief Executive Officer Patrick Kennedy said that despite the delay, the Irish bookmaker would ‘continue to explore other opportunities in the US market’.

In further news, Isaac Ward, head of egaming at Paddy Power, is reported to have left the company. Ward was appointed to the position in 2012 when he replaced Christopher Coyne, who had been promoted to head up the company’s website, Paddypower.com.
