During the soft-play period there will be more than 58 slot games and 24 table games from Amaya, Bally Technologies, IGT and SHFL entertainment available to Golden Nugget players.
The soft launch means that playing hours remain restricted from 6pm to 2am today, Friday, November 22, with continuous operating hours beginning tomorrow at 8am and running until Monday, November 25. The full launch is anticipated for Tuesday, November 26.
Of Atlantic City’s dozen casinos, Resorts, Revel and the Atlantic Club are the only three to have not yet launched an online offering. Revel and Atlantic have so far suggested they will not pursue regulated online gambling while Resorts is still awaiting approval for its partnership with PokerStars.
In light of PokerStars’ somewhat controversial history in the US, it remains to be seen if the world’s largest poker brand will receive a licence in New Jersey or anywhere in the US.
