German gaming machine operator Schmidt Grüppe has bought the money-handling specialist CMI. Financial terms of the transaction for the German firm were not disclosed.
CMI is best known for the Multi Cash Terminal, which comes in five versions and will connect to any gambling device to handle any transactions, coins, bills, tickets or cards. Schmidt, based at Coesfeld, near Münster, has 180 arcades in Germany.
