“In excess” of 50 per cent of the floor space at MGM Cotai, a new casino resort being built in Macau by MGM China Holdings, would be for non-gaming entertainment, said the firm’s chief executive Grant Bowie.
“Our Cotai project is more like a series of theatres or a series of galleries, where people – and we – can actually bring things,” he stated.
“It’s probably in excess – just for the entertainment pieces – of 50 per cent of the floor space. But the way we’re going to do that is it’s going to be interspersed with other activities,” Bowie added.
