Two highly experienced execs joined Swedish gambling group in December.
December 2013 hirings at the Swedish online gambling group Betsson include former Betfair head of international marketing Peter Weinreich & Markus Aurala, who was previously chief product officer at Mr Green Online Casino.
Weinreich has been appointed managing director for Betsson’s Danish market, based in Copenhagen. He is familiar with the region, having worked as Danish country manager during his service with Betfair, which included stints in international marketing.
Early in his career he spent five years as a marketing coordinator with state gambling monopoly Danske Spil.
Weinreich holds an executive MBA & a Higher Diploma in Marketing from the Copenhagen Business School.
Finn Markus Aurala has been hired as head of casino at Betsson & joins the company after holding senior management positions at the Mr.Green online casino & as head of games & site development with �…lands Penningautomatförening (PAF) – a Finnish company that operates a gambling monopoly on the �…land Islands, Finland, & has an Internet-based gambling & gaming operation, in addition to operating & maintaining casino & gaming activities on a large number of cruiseferrys.
He will be based in Betsson’s Malta offices.
