Digital sports media company Perform Group has announced that chief financial officer David Surtees will stand down from the company’s board with effect from January 31.
According to the RTTNews.com website, the company said that a search to find a successor was underway and that an announcement would be made in due course.
Surtees first joined Perform in 2008 prior to the firm listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2011.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank David Surtees for his significant contribution over the last six years,” non executive chairman Paul Walker said. “David joined shortly after the formation of the Group and has helped to grow and build the business.”
Perform, which operates the Watch&Bet streaming service for bookmakers, issued a profit warning in mid-December, disclosing that 2013 earnings would be “significantly” below expectations following disappointing advertising and sponsorship figures during the fourth quarter, particularly in the US and German markets.
