Swedish online gaming operator Unibet has signed a deal that will see the operator integrate a portfolio of games supplied by Malta-based developer Yggdrasil Gaming.Yggdrasil said that Unibet was the largest client to so far take delivery of its games, and described its new partner as “one of the fastest growing businesses in the European regulated gaming market.”
Unibet will launch a full portfolio of Yggdrasil games, including its high-roller video slot Winterberries, the Jokerizer slot, available for desktop and mobile, and the daily draw game Lotto7.
Yggdrasil has now signed up five new clients this year alone, most recently agreeing a partnership with the Panda Media-owned Videoslots.com last week. The company has also partnered Scandinavian-facing operators Mr Green, LeoVegas and Vera&John.
The supplier’s chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist said that Unibet was one of the most recognisable and fast-growing betting and gaming brands in the market.
“We’re delighted they’ve agreed to partner with us allowing their huge customer base access to our games,” Elmqvist continued. “It is both a huge endorsement of the work we’re doing, the products we have and we’re developing and a huge achievement for the team.”
Unibet head of gaming Daniel Eskola said the operator was excited to enhance its product portfolio by launching the new games, picking out the Lotto7 product, which offers a €2.5m prize, as being particularly exciting.
“Unibet is impressed with the high quality of Yggdrasil’s slot games and feel confident that our players will enjoy them too,” Eskola added.
