The Astra Gaming Group, the UK subsidiary of Austrian Gaming Industries, part of the Novomatic Group, has acquired a majority holding in live dealer gaming solutions provider Extreme Live Gaming.
Based in Manila, Extreme Live Gaming operates studios in Asia and employs both Asian and European dealers.
The acquisition, the terms of which were undisclosed, will see Extreme Live Gaming join Astra Games, Bell-Fruit Games, Empire Games, Gamestec, Greentube, RLMS Sales and Mazooma Interactive Gaming under the Astra Gaming Group umbrella.
The deal will include the opening of a new European studio that will be located in London. This is due to be operational by the third quarter of 2014.
In addition, Extreme Live Gaming will also integrate Greentube’s gaming suite, which will allow operators to access Novomatic content within the live dealer product and leverage Greentube’s back office capability.
