NextGen takes games into land-based sector with Betdigital

NYX Gaming Group’s NextGen Gaming has selected UK-based games developer Betdigital to deploy two of its online slot games for Gala Coral’s land-based operations.

NextGen’s Foxin’ Wins and 300 Shields online slots titles will be used exclusively by Gala Coral’s licensed betting offices and bingo clubs.

Betdigital, the content and systems developer based in Abingdon, has integrated NextGen’s games via its SystemX platform, which enables third party and online game developers to bring their content to the land-based gaming market. The company claims that its proprietary platform allows for quick integrations of just twelve weeks.

“Partnering with NextGen to integrate Foxin’ Wins and 300 Shields with Gala Coral highlights just how quickly we can work with operators and third parties to get games from one channel live in another environment,” said Betdigital CEO Heath Samples. “Having been incredibly popular online, I am sure the titles will now be top performers with Coral and Gala Bingo.”

Foxin’ Wins is a five reel online slot based on a series of comic capers set in the mansion house of an aristocratic fox and follows his efforts to catch a mischievous leprechaun. The game is due to launch across all channels with Coral in the next couple of months, and will be supported by Coral’s ‘Connect’ single wallet across land-based and all interactive channels.

The warrior-themed 300 Shields allows players to battle against the Spartans in Ancient Greece. This games will be available exclusively on B2 and B3 gaming machines in over 1,800 Coral betting shops and 137 Gala Bingo premises.

“We are delighted to be working with Betdigital to launch our games into UK land based premises,” said David Johnson, NYX Gaming Group’s commercial director for Games. “Betdigital’s land-based integration capabilities will add significant value to our proven, premium, repeat-play online slots content.”

Betdigital also develops content in-house which is deployed by all major platform operators, including William Hill and Ladbrokes.
