Edmonds retires from William Hill boardBookmaker William Hill has announced that David Edmonds has stepped down from his position as senior independent non-executive director and retired from the company’s board.

Edmonds, who first joined the William Hill in 2005, is also currently a board member of Barchester Health Care and serves as governor of Kingston University in the UK.

Edmonds has also held various senior positions at the likes of UK banking group NatWest and British logistics company Wincanton PLC.

William Hill confirmed Edmonds’s departure at the end of its annual general meeting on May 8.

William Hill chairman Gareth Davis said: “I would like to express my sincere thanks on behalf of the board for David’s significant contribution as a non-executive director over the last nine years.”
