Win Interactive has finalised a strategic partnership with Thunder Valley Casino Resort, a venue owned by California’s United Auburn Indian Community, to launch games inspired by the casino. The collaboration will see Win, the social casino company backed by bwin.party digital entertainment, develop slots featuring the Thunder Valley’s branding, while also integrating the venue’s loyalty programme, Thunder Club.
Players can build up experience levels by playing the slots, allowing them to collect Thunder Rewards, which can be redeemed for real-world prizes such as meals, hotel rooms, gaming tokens and items from the casino’s gift shop.
Win and Thunder Valley will also team up to launch cross-promotional marketing campaigns and to develop new content.
The first games are expected to launch on Win’s Slots Craze app across Android, Facebook and iOS platforms in the fourth quarter of this year.
“Win is always looking for innovative ways to make social casino gaming more exciting and rewarding,” the company’s chief executive Barak Rabinowitz explained. “This partnership with Thunder Valley Casino Resort allows us to tap into the very popular and well-known Thunder Valley brand, and offer our players unique rewards for engagement that bridge the gap between online and offline casinos.”
The partnership is Win’s second collaboration with a US land-based casino operator, after it partnered Boyd Gaming to develop its first full casino app, Stardust Casino. The app is themed around the iconic land-based Stardust Casino, which was closed down in 2006.
The deal also marks the second team-up between Win and an existing partner of bwin.party. The operator established an online gaming partnership with Boyd, and in February 2012 signed a ten-year agreement with Thunder Valley owners United Auburn to launch online poker once California passes iGaming legislation.
Thunder Valley general manager Dawn Clayton said the casino had established a reputation for fun and excitement in “a grand and luxurious setting.”
“Win has proven its ability to create world-class social gaming experiences, and we are very pleased to partner in extending our brand to the world of social casino gaming, and to be able to offer our guests new ways to earn rewards while at home or on the go,” Clayton added.
