Czech Republic-based lottery and betting provider Synot has agreed a four-year deal to become the new title sponsor of the Czech Liga, the top division of club football in the country.
The deal, which includes an option for an additional four-year extension, will lead to the league being rebranded as the Synot Liga from the 2014-15 season.
Synot will replace Gambrinus as title sponsor, with the Czech beer brand having held the designation since 1997.
The Czech Liga has also developed a new logo to mark Synot’s arrival as its new naming partner.
Terms for the deal are entering the final stages of being formally completed.
