Alderney’s gambling regulator, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), has served 3D slots developer BetSoftGaming with a notice requiring it to suspend operations immediately. The AGCC’s executive director André Wilsenach issued the supplier’s parent company, Digitus Limited, with the suspension notice Friday, under Regulation 91 of Alderney’s eGambling Regulations 2009, alongside a hearing notice under Regulation 90.
Wilsenach said that he was not in a position to comment on the reasons behind the suspension, but said he had sufficient grounds to believe that Digitus was “no longer suitable” to hold a certificate and therefore to provide their services to Alderney’s Category 1 licensees under their certificate.
