Online gaming systems and software provider GameAccount Network has entered into a partnership with US casino property Parx Casino to launch a Simulated Gaming online experience for customers.
Owned by Greenwood Racing, Pennsylvania-based Parx Casino comprises a thoroughbred racetrack and casino property.
Simulated Gaming will be launched in Pennsylvania despite online real-money gaming having not yet been legalised in the US state, although regulators have discussed legalisation.
Under the agreement, the GameSTACK Internet Gaming System will be deployed on-property at Parx Casino for Simulated Gaming, thus enabling an immediate upgrade to real-money online gaming if legislation is passed.
Customers and Parx Casino will be able to use their rewards card to engage online playing US Class III casino slots translated by GameAccount.
“GameAccount has demonstrated its Regulated Gaming capability in New Jersey and the merits of Simulated Gaming when integrated with a casino management system,” Greenwood Entertainment & Racing chief technology officer John Dixon said.
“By deploying their system on-property Parx Casino will have the opportunity to launch Simulated Gaming nationwide before year’s end and be well prepared in the event regulation of real money internet gaming emerges in the state of Pennsylvania.”
Dermot Smurfit, chief executive officer of GameAccount, added: “This year has seen the launch of Simulated Gaming in the US and Parx’s selection of our unique internet gaming service is further validation of the monetisation model, the underlying strength of our regulation-ready Internet Gaming System, the promotional capabilities of our back office and relevant appeal of our widening gaming portfolio.”
