Malta-based Playson has become the latest games developer to integrate its gaming content onto the Odobo platform, with two titles to be initially launched on the Odobo Marketplace. Odobo said that its Developer Program will offer Playson the opportunity to deliver its content to players on desktop, tablet, and mobile in a single HTML5 client build.
Playson’s real-money games, including popular titles Alice in Wonderslots and Lucky Pirates, will be available to Odobo’s operator clients, which currently includes bet365 and Betfair, while play-for-fun versions of the games will be made available via Odobo Play.
Odobo expects to add further titles from Playson’s portfolio in the future.
“Playson is a successful studio with a number of hit titles to its credit,” said Julian Jarvis, chief business affairs officer at Odobo. “The fact that the team has reviewed and chosen Odobo as the future of delivering its games is testament to the commercial opportunity our platform presents. We feel proud of this achievement and look forward to Playson’s first release.”
Playson is based in Malta, but has a technical development team in Ukraine. The studio now has approximately 250 staff, with further offices in Moscow and Minsk.
Playson managing director Adam Daniel, said: “Odobo represents a modern and sophisticated solution for bringing games to market. The tools on offer allow us to provide our content to multiple vendors and millions of players via a single build. Through Odobo we are able to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest in the business and that is not an opportunity to be ignored.”
