CG Technology has followed the launch of a video poker product earlier this month with the roll-out of an updated sports betting app for Apple, Android and Windows PC devices. The revamped app features a broader range of wagering options, including future bets, proposition bets and parlays. Users can also place bets, view active and past bets and manage their sportsbook wallet efficiently.
The new features are supported by a new user interface designed to offer enhanced functionality and a more intuitive user experience.
“At CG Technology we are dedicated to continually improving our technology to offer customers the best, most innovative wagering experience in Nevada and in Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas,” CG Technology president and chief executive Lee Amaitis said.
“Our previous mobile sports wagering generated approximately 60 per cent of the wagers CG Technology received,” he explained. “As a preeminent technology company we strive to do better, to be more consumer-focused, and more innovative.”
He described the updated product as meeting the demands of sports betting customers with more games, an expanded range of wagering opportunities and more intuitive ways to place wagers.
CG chief technology officer Matthew Morrissette said that the company had worked with consumers to understand what they felt worked and what didn’t in the available sports betting apps in its core markets.
“With this feedback in mind, we redesigned our user interface to function more intuitively on mobile phones, tablets and Windows PCs, and the iOS version has been updated to match iOS 7 visual guidelines and look and feel,” he explained.
“Our goal was to launch an app that was more user-friendly, more intuitive and more interactive. The features and functionality contained within CG Sports are fresh and clean. The user experience is a fun one but also an efficient and productive one. The end result is a radical improvement for our users,” he said.
