Satellite Information Services (SIS) a provider of end-to-end products and services to the betting and broadcast industries, has appointed Perform Group’s David Johnson as it new head of digital rights.

In his new role, Johnson will help the company secure partnerships in sport and develop new products for the online market.

Johnson will assume responsibility for developing digitally-driven commercial relationships with a host of partners such as sports federations and rights agencies.

“SIS has a great history of innovation, a high level of expertise in producing high quality data and live pictures, and a reputation for integrity,” Johnson said.

“I’m looking forward to building on those qualities and helping drive the push into the digital world.”

Paul Baker, director of strategic development at SIS, added: “I’m delighted that David has joined us. He has a proven track record in the sports content industry and working with sports rights holders particularly.
