Gambling consultancy Elray Gaming has signed a master software agreement to resell and operate Playtech’s industry leading online gaming technology in Asia. Brokered by holding company Moorgate Commercial, the deal gives Elray access to Playtech’s full range of online gaming products and solutions, including sports betting, casino and poker.
The deal extends to defined territories in Asia and will see Elray work closely with both Playtech and Moorgate to grow in the region.
Elray currently offers a virtual horse racing product which it acquired in April this year, as well as a casino management solution and a proprietary binary options trading platform.
The company is also familiar with Playtech, having signed a 12-month agreement in June 2013 to provide consulting services to the Playtech-powered Golden Galaxy online casino.
The company was established in February 2011 and is led by chief executive Brian Goodman, who is based in Australia, with offices also in New York and London.
In addition to the reseller agreement, Elray is also known to be investigating the acquisition of an established online casino, possibly Golden Galaxy.
The deals could significantly boost Elray’s revenue, which amounted to just $75,000 in the six months ended June 30th, 2014. With total operating expenses of $1.8m, the company posted a loss of $1.7m for the period.
