Swedish payment solutions provider PugglePay has further expanded its client base with the signing of Malta-licensed iGaming operator Casino Saga, which will launch its mobile depositing and invoicing solution. Casino Saga is operated by Rushplay AB, a company founded by Casumo co-founder Georg Westin. It combines social gaming mechanics with real-money gambling, with players progressing through a story by playing different games across a fantasy world.
PugglePay chief executive Kristofer Ekman Sinclair said that Casino Saga had “revolutionised” the iGaming industry by turning a traditional casino experience into an adventure game.
“This is a great challenge which the Casino Saga team have managed extremely well,” Sinclair continued. “For Casino Saga, the loyal and returning customer is the very core of their operation, which is why our solution fits so well into the Saga offering.”
It will allow customers to make deposits using the PugglePay solution using their mobile phones.
PugglePay performs a real-time credit check in order to ensure the customer can afford the sum, then deposits the money into their iGaming account. It then sends the individual an invoice to be paid at a later date.
The solution is designed to reduce fraudulent payments by checking immediately whether people can make the payment, as well as simplifying the payment process, making repeat deposits more likely. Invoicing solutions are widely used in Scandinavia, more so than direct debiting for the majority of bill payments.
Casino Saga chief executive Westin said that adding PugglePay’s solution was a natural step for his company to offer “a beneficial and fast option” for players.
“PugglePay is already quite appreciated among our customers as the solution allows the customers to deposit safely and swiftly by just using their cell phone number,” Westin explained. “For us PugglePay is also a good fit as PugglePay adds a level of security by carrying out credit checks, controlling the customer’s financial health before accepting a transaction.”
PugglePay provides its payment services to a number of Nordic-facing partners including Betsson, Mr Green, Casumo, ComeOn and Europa Casino.
