Globet Sportsbook remains off-line nine months after pulling the plug on its operation.
Sportsbook Review reported that Globet, rated D- at the time of going off-line, owed approximately $30,000 to players and had accumulated a handful of slow-pay complaints prior to the collapse. Globet has not resurfaced, and players remain in the dark.
One peculiar item is that prior to going off-line, Globet Sportsbook changed its address with the UK Government, as reported by SBR in late February.
Globet made for the second sportsbook in a short time-frame, albeit on a smaller scale, to dissolve under the watch of the UK Gambling Commission, joining Canbet.
Sportsbook Review will keep readers if any news develops on the status of the owners of Globet or if players have an option to retrieve their funds.
