Online gaming operator TonyBet has become one of the latest companies to have been awarded a UK gambling licence.
Under the new licence, TonyBet will be able to continue to legally offer its services to customers in the regulated UK market.
TonyBet currently operates two websites in the form of TonyBet.com, which focuses mainly on sports betting and casino games, and TonyBetPoker.com, which provides what the firm said is the first-ever online Open Face Chinese Poker money games.
TonyBet founder Antanas Guoga – better known as Tony G – said: “We are delighted to be regulated in the UK. It’s the best online gaming market in the world and we want to make it fun and enjoyable for our customers.
“This regulation is a testament to the hard work and integrity we have been striving for since establishing the company in 2009.”
The news comes shortly after TonyBet also launch a mobile betting application as part of a move to further strengthen its service offering.
