The game has gone live for iOS and Android devices, as well as being rolled out on Facebook, with more than 3,500 jackpots won within a week of the launch. One player has already won a record jackpot of 6.7bn chips.
“With Jackpot City we created a classically themed slot that we knew would work well in the social environment that our players love,” Big Fish Casino vice president and general manager Carey DiJulio commented. “The progressive jackpots not only make for big wins, but also accentuate the thrill of playing with a group of people in real time.”
DiJulio added that the company was “constantly developing new ways to bring the excitement of the casino floor to Big Fish Casino.”
The launch is the first since Big Fish Games was acquired by gaming and racetrack operator Churchill Downs Incorporated in a $885m deal. First agreed in November this year, the acquisition was completed this week.
