The Delaware Lottery has reported that the state has recovered from a slump in online gaming revenue after operators in November collected the fourth-highest monthly winnings total since internet gambling was regulated last year.
Revenue from the state’s online gaming market amounted to $184,898 (€150,528) in November, which represents a significant jump on the $130,469 generated in October.
Although the figure is some way short of the record monthly revenue of $240,762, which was posted in December of last year, the November total is one of the highest amounts recorded in recent months and the fourth-highest monthly total since online gaming was regulated in Delaware last November.
This year’s November total is also way ahead of the $111,387 generated in the first month of regulated online gaming in November 2013.
Delaware Park remains the most popular operator in the state by some distance, boasting a market share of around two-thirds with revenue of $122,894.
Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway took in $31,421 and $30,582 respectively in November.
Online poker activity in the state also improved, with revenue from such operations up 15% from $28,465 in October to $32,814 last month.
However, this figure falls a long way short of the record $106,922 collected in December 2013.
