Online gambling company PartyPoker is to add a “wait list solution” to its New Jersey offering following months of complaints from players.
Players currently join game tables in the site’s lobby, but if a table they want to play at is full, they must keep checking back to see if a seat has opened.
Unlike with many modern sites, there is currently no feature that would allow a player join a waiting list and be notified when a seat at that table becomes available.
In response, disgruntled players began a petition in May calling on PartyPoker to improve its software.
Earlier this week, a Partypoker representative replied to the posts on the Two Plus Two forum stating that it had been confirmed with the product team that a “wait list solution” to resolve the long-standing issue would be added soon.
Partypoker is the most successful operator in New Jersey since the US state legalised online gaming last year.
Partypoker, which operates with Borgata casino, generated $3.4 million (€2.78m) of the $8.7 million online gaming win in New Jersey in November.
