Online poker market declined 7 percent this week

Overall online poker revenues declined 7 percent last week as big money promos from industry leader Pokerstars saw cash game traffic at the company’s sites noticeably ease 13 percent.

Pokerstars continued to dominate the market with a seven day cash-game player average of just on 19,500, with 888Poker a poor rival in second place at 2,400 players & Playtech’s iPoker network third with 2,100.

Full Tilt, PartyPoker & Bodog followed, with the final four of the top ten sites including the Italian & Spanish Pokerstars sites, French leader Winamax and, in the tenth spot, Adjarabet.
