LiveSport acquires majority stake in Enetpulse

Global sports media group LiveSport has acquired a majority share in live sports data provider Enetpulse.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Enetpulse will continue to distribute its InPlay sports data product to the betting industry.

This will include a focus on dedicated long-term management and an ongoing expansion of its worldwide network.

The deal comes after iGaming Business last year reported that LiveSport Media, a subsidiary of LiveSport, acquired SoccerStand.com from Enetpulse.

“We have been looking at sports data delivery area for a long time, so we believe this is a good fit for LiveSport, which will help our company to achieve an even bigger reach within the sports community.

“Enetpulse B2B business will benefit from support that our network of 50-plus sporting websites can provide, in addition to other synergy effects.”

Leo Noer, managing director of Enetpulse, added: “This announcement marks an exciting next step in the history of Enetpulse and we are looking forward to fulfilling a key role within the LiveSport group, which we believe is the right partner for Enetpulse.”

“Enetpulse are already at the forefront of an exciting and dynamic time for the global sports data market.
