Adjarabet migrates online poker to Microgaming

Georgian gambling operator Adjarabet has completed a full migration of its online poker offering to the Microgaming platform using Babelfish API.

As part of the project, run in collaboration with Georgian development house Singular, Adjarabet has built its own custom poker software.

Adjarabet will also benefit from Babelfish API, which is plugged in to Microgaming’s servers and aims to offer a unique poker client without the cost of server-side development and hosting.

The custom-designed software is now available in both download and instant-play versions, with the operator expecting to also launch a mobile version.

“We were looking for a partner to help us grow and improve our poker offering; when Microgaming presented Babelfish we knew it was exactly what we needed,” Adjarabet’s head of poker Alastair Ives said.

“The Babelfish API allows us to offer a product that is completely tailored to our customer base, eliminating the pain of migrating to a new software provider. We are very happy with how the process has been handled and with the results of the migration so far.”

Alex Scott, head of poker at Microgaming, added: “Adjarabet has generated a lot of interest in the last couple of years and naturally I am thrilled that they have chosen Microgaming and our Babelfish technology to take their poker platform to the next level.”

Microgaming also noted that it will announce a number of other new operator signings in the coming months and will additionally unveil major changes to its poker software.
