Amaya Gaming-owned online gaming brand PokerStars has launched a new live casino environment powered by live dealer specialist Evolution Gaming.
Featuring nine live tables, the environment is not only the largest to have been created by Evolution for a licensee launch, but also the first to utilise Evolution’s multi-camera Immersive Lite studio installation.
The environment also features PokerStars décor and branding, while each table is served by a dealer wearing PokerStars uniforms.
The launch is the latest move by PokerStars to expand its presence in the online casino market.
PokerStars, owned by the Rational Group that was last year acquired by Amaya Gaming, recently launched a live casino service via its Spanish-facing PokerStars.es website.
“When we took the decision to add live casino to PokerStars.com we wanted it to be something really special,” Rational Group’s director of casino Sam Hobcraft said.
“The quality of the build and the final design is simply the best in the market.
“With the addition of PokerStars being the first to offer Immersive Lite Roulette and a localised experience, we have created a product that will exceed PokerStars customer expectations.”
