AGI to reclaim sales and distribution rights

Austrian Gaming Industries (AGI), a subsidiary of integrated global gaming firm Novomatic, has announced it is to reclaim the rights to the sales and distribution of its multiplayer product range that are currently held by TCS John Huxley.

From August 1 this year, AGI will fully control all global sales and distribution of the range directly, via its subsidiary companies in some jurisdictions and through certain distribution partners in other markets.

Despite giving up the rights, TCS will still have access to software and spare parts support via AGI approved local channels and will be able to offer related services in certain markets.

Jens Einhaus, sales director of AGI, said: “AGI wishes to thank TCS John Huxley for its long commitment to Novomatic and its market leading multiplayer product range.

“While circumstances now dictate that AGI will now bring commercial responsibility for these products back ‘in house’, the length of our co-operation with TCS John Huxley and the excellent relationship that our companies have shared have been a major factor in the success of Novomatic multiplayer products around the world.

“For that I wish to express our thanks for the excellent professional relationship that AGI has enjoyed over the years with TCS John Huxley.”
