Resorts Atlantic City rolls out online gaming platform

Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel has officially launched its new online gaming platform in the US state of New Jersey.

The real-money online casino features a range of casino slots and table games, in addition to exclusive titles that will be made available in the US for the first time.

Legal players in the state can access services via the ResortsCasino.com website, while visitors to the Resorts land-based site can visit the new Resorts iGaming Lounge facility that has been constructed to enable players to take part in online gaming activities in a live casino environment.

Resorts has launched the new platform in partnership with established online gaming companies such as SNG Interactive, Sportech and NYX Gaming Group.

Resorts owner Morris Bailey said: “The launch of ResortsCasino.com and debut of the new digital Resorts iGaming Lounge offers all of our casino customers the best gaming experience possible.

“We will offer our players the opportunity to play all their favourite casino slots and table games at their leisure anywhere in New Jersey, while also providing customers the chance to experience online gaming during their visit to Resorts in Atlantic City.

“These new amenities are the latest examples of Resorts’ long-term property reinvestment plans, highlighting our casino’s ongoing growth trajectory for success.”

Despite confirmation of the launch of Resorts’ online gaming platform, there has been no further news over the launch of PokerStars in New Jersey.

As reported by iGaming Business, Bailey last week suggested that the Amaya-owned online gaming brand was close to securing a licence in the state.

Amaya previously stated that it has a deal in place to become the online presence for Resorts once it gains approval from New Jersey regulators.
