US Gaming solutions provider Scientific Games has expanded its relationship with Danish monopoly operator Danske Spil, integrating its remote game server to launch casino games for Danske Spil’s iGaming brand. Danske Spil players now have access to a selection of popular land-based slots and table games, repurposed for online play, including titles from SG’s Barcrest, Shuffle Master and Williams game design studios.
Scientific Games described the launch of its iGaming products in Denmark as a milestone for the company, with its games already available in the regulated US markets of New Jersey and Delaware, across a number of European jurisdictions, and in Canadian provinces such as British Colombia and Ontario.
The games have been delivered through bwin.party’s platform, which powers Danske Spil’s online casino offering.
Bob Hays, vice president of commercial for SG’s interactive business, said he was excited to enter Denmark’s online gaming market to provide Danske Spil with access to the company’s portfolio of casino content.
“The interest in our content from another regulated online gaming market is a testament to the broad player appeal of our proprietary slots and table game themes,” he said.
“We’re thrilled to deepen our relationship with Scientific Games by extending our casino offering and strengthening our position as marked leader in a very competitive Danish market,” added Danske Spil’s head of casino, poker and games, Søren Schneider.
“The wide array of player-popular casino games to which we have access through their game server heightens the entertainment we’re able to offer our players at home and on-the-go,” he said.
