Full Tilt awarded Denmark online gaming licence

Amaya’s Full Tilt has launched a licensed offering in Denmark after being approved to offer poker and casino games by the country’s regulator, the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA). The new site, Fulltilt.dk, gives players in Denmark and Greenland access to the brand’s global player base, allowing them to compete against users around the world.

The Danish licence is the fourth territory in which Full Tilt has been licensed since it relaunched in 2012, following its acquisition by PokerStars owner Rational Group.

It is also licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.

“We are excited that Danish players are now able to play both casino and poker games on Full Tilt,” Full Tilt managing director Dominic Mansour commented. “Danish players are able to create their stories on Full Tilt and compete against players from around the world.”

Full Tilt’s sister brand PokerStars has been active in the Danish market since January 2012, having been awarded a licence in the country a month prior.
