German lottery brokerage ZEAL Network has appointed former Travelocity and Disney Online’s Susan Standiford as the company’s new chief technology officer. Standiford began her role Monday, and will also serve on ZEAL’s executive board.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, she has held a number of high-profile roles in product development and information technology companies, working for both customer-facing and B2B organisations.
Most recently she served as chief technology officer of Rue La La, a US-based private shopping portal, but has also worked for high-profile companies such as Disney Online, where she served as vice president of technology from 2009 to 2011.
Standiford previously held the same role at online travel agency Travelocity, as well as serving as vice president of engineering for Ingenix, a subsidiary of managed healthcare provider UnitedHealthGroup, and as technology director for Retek, a division of software giant Oracle.
“We are very pleased to welcome Susan to our team and to the executive board of ZEAL,” said Dr Hans Cornehl, chief executive of her new employer. “She has an impressive professional track record as CTO with a focus on innovating technology and company culture. With Susan we will accelerate our pursuit to create a better world of lottery.”
