On Friday of last week SBR reported of a bonus complaint against Intertops Sportsbook (SBR rating B+).
A player had claimed that a €500 back-end bonus free bet was denied.
The player was attempting to clear requirements for a back-end bonus for an incentive promoted during the German Bundesliga campaign.
Intertops has addressed the complaint with SBR. A manager has informed SBR that the player was excluded by traders December 26th of last year from receiving future bonuses.
One month later, the player contacted Intertops staff regarding the 20% Bundesliga free bet. He was told later that day that he was ineligible to receive this bonus due to his exclusion from promotions at the sports betting website.
The player apparently did not read this email and continued to wager hoping to unlock the back-end bonus.
He would have been able to take a withdrawal once he realized that he was ineligible for the bonus. SBR would have argued for the player’s transaction to be clear of fees if the initial customer service rep provided conflicting information regarding his eligibility.
Sportsbook Review has communicated this update to the player and considers this sportsbook bonus dispute resolved.
