An LSbet Sportsbook player has filed a complaint against the sports betting website.
The player originally deposited €240 on April 29. He was given a one-time rollover or play-through requirement before he could withdraw his fund, as he accepted a welcome bonus from the betting site.
After clearing his rollover requirement, he increased his balance to €557.
At this point, the player was sent an e-mail indicating that he had to provide a variety of ID documents to satisfy the Know Your Customer (KYC) process at LSbet. He sent over a scanned copy of his ID and utility bill.
On May 12, he received a notification thanking him for providing the documents but advising him that the bookmaker decided to permanently close his betting account.
The below e-mail was sent from LSbet to the player:
LSbet Sportsbook: “Unfortunately, your account did not pass the verification process. Therefore, you are able to withdraw only the initial deposit. Once you send request of withdrawal for your funds, account will be closed. Decision is taken by Financial Department and it is final and irrevocable. The reason is in accordance with LSbet.com Terms And Consitions point 1.2.4. and 1.2.4.1”
The player is contesting this decision and is demanding to know why he is ineligible to withdraw his winnings.
