A BetUS Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has submitted negative feedback regarding how the sports betting website handled his account.
The player has claimed that his account was promptly closed after he had successfully turned over a bonus promotion.
As a result, the player has claimed that he was forced to forfeit $450 in free plays. He was paid his balance, but has claimed that his funds were “slowly dispersed”, and he was charged excessive withdrawal fees by BetUS.
Adding to the complaint, the player stated the following in the e-mail he sent Sportsbook Review detailing his experience with the betting site:
BetUS Sportsbook Player: “My experience with BetUS was one of the poorest with any sportsbook. They give internet gambling a bad name.”
The player did not specify the amount of the fees he was forced to pay to receive his balance or precisely the amount of funds he withdrew, but did confirm receiving his balance.
BetUS was recently upgraded for agreeing to discuss player complaints with SBR and clearing up recent complaints submitted by players. The online sportsbook agreed to consider the industry standard when handling complaints.
Sportsbook Review has asked the online sportsbook to clarify why the player was forced to forfeit $450 in free plays. Although an online sportsbook is free to close a player’s account for whatever reason it chooses, a bonus that is fully rolled over cannot simply be seized because an account is closed.
