Sportsbook Review reported recently on a Tonybet Sportsbook (SBR rating D) complaint. A player contacted SBR claiming that she has been owed €1,000 since June 22.
The player is waiting for the payout through Skrill.
She informed SBR that prior to requesting the payout, she was fully verified and had successfully passed the sports betting websites comprehensive KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
An update on the case came mid-day Wednesday as the player took to Twitter to complain about not receiving her funds in a timely fashion.
Allegedly, she then immediately received a Twitter direct message asking her to provide a time for a “verification call”.
At this time, the player noted that her sports betting account was suspended.
The player responded to the Twitter message by providing a time-frame of 3PM today for the phone call. No such call was received. The player re-tweeted an update to her followers and also commented on Google Plus concerning the situation.
In today’s social media age, there really is no place to hide or cover up poor service, wagering disputes, or information other sports bettors might find relevant or helpful when evaluating a new betting site.
TonyBet was initiated with a D rating on the sportsbook ratings guide.
Sportsbook Review is hopeful to speak with TonyBet concerning the delay this player is experiencing and the subsequent account disabling, which the player is adamant occurred after complaining via Twitter.
While the player’s gender should not be reason for the delay – the fact of the matter is, as SBR has reported in the past, female sports bettors are at times unfairly hassled by online betting sites assuming that they are beards of another accounts.
