Online poker operator Winamax has struck a deal to become an official sponsor of French Ligue 1 top-tier football club Olympique de Marseille.
The deal will run for two years, from the 2015-16 season through to the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Under the agreement, Winamax will benefit from significant exposure through the placement of company branding on players’ shorts during Ligue 1 matches.
Marseille enjoyed a successful season during the 2014-15 Ligue 1 campaign, finishing fourth in the division to secure a qualifying spot for the Uefa Europa League European club competition.
