Gamesys founder and chief executive Noel Hayden will be stepping down from his role and will be succeeded by current chief operating officer Lee Fenton.
Hayden will become executive chairman of the group, the changes were confirmed during a management meeting held on Friday afternoon.
It is understood that the change of leadership will have little to no impact on Gamesys’s relationship with Intertain, for which Gamesys runs the brands Jackpotjoy, Botemania and Starspins following the acquisition by Intertain in April.
Lee Fenton joined Gamesys in 2008 following management roles at 20th Century Fox and Vodafone, he did not respond to requests for comment at the time of writing.
