NYX Gaming Group has appointed Huw Thomas, formerly chief operating officer at Betsson, as its new chief corporate development and marketing officer.
In his new role, Thomas will help lead the direction and execution of the firm’s ongoing external marketing.
Thomas joins NYX Gaming after spending more than five years with Betsson, most recently serving as the firm’s chief operating officer for a two-and-a-half year spell before stepping down in January of this year.
Thomas first joined Betsson in March 2010 as head of casino before going on to become head of client services in India, head of Betsson.com and finally chief operating officer.
Prior to his time with Betsson, he spent two years as casino and games manager at Gala Coral, and also enjoyed a two-and-a-half year spell as marketing manager at Prospreads.com.
