London-listed gaming technology supplier GameAccount Network has introduced real-time slot tournaments to its Simulated Gaming solution, with the offering already live with a number of the company’s US casino partners.
GameAccount said that slot tournaments are an established component of the gaming experience offered by land-based casinos in the US and are “proven” drivers of customer acquisition and retention.
“Senior executives of major land-based US casinos have described the powerful value slot tournaments deliver on-property,” said GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit. “Now GameAccount Network’s real-time online slot tournaments are delivering equally powerful value online for clients of Simulated Gaming and extends our product leadership in the marketplace.”
Slot tournament play has been launched on several slot titles from five different suppliers via the Simulated Gaming platform, with additional roll outs expected during the second half of the year.
GameAccount said that it has been developed using a combination of technologies including HTML5, and represents a material development in the company’s offering, building upon the diverse multiplayer poker, backgammon and gin rummy tournaments already available in the GameSTACK internet gaming system.
“Now we offer land-based US casinos a comprehensively unique and best-in-class service after years of innovation and investment: Simulated Gaming complemented by exciting slot tournaments ensuring the online slots experience remains authentic to the slot gaming experience enjoyed by millions of American casino patrons on-property,” said Smurfit.
The majority of GameAccount’s operational US casino operator partners have adopted slot tournaments, most recently New York’s Empire City Casino.
The company expects top deploy slot tournaments for the regulated real-money markets later this year, including New Jersey, the UK and Italy.
