Full Tilt, the gaming brand owned by Amaya subsidiary Rational Group, has signed up Marc Kennedy as a player ambassador in order to help the company better understand player wants, needs and opinions on potential poker gameplay changes.
Kennedy previously represented Full Tilt as a Black Card Pro, a status earned by proving their skills in a number of tournaments, for a number of years, and is described as an engaged member of the poker community.
As a player ambassador he will continue to play on Full Tilt, and will not be privy to confidential information relating to players or gameplay, engaging with players to canvass opinions on proposed changes to the way the game is played and the poker room ecology.
“My new role at Full Tilt is not to be a sponsored pro in the traditional sense,” he said. “My job is to act as a player ambassador, working with the team on any changes to the product that may have an impact on players.
“I’m here to be their voice, and want to hear from all players, whether currently playing at Full Tilt or not, if they’ve any concerns they want me to raise with Full Tilt or with any ideas they have. Let’s take this opportunity to contribute to an online poker room that we, as poker players who love the game, want to play at.”

In related news, Full Tilt’s sister brand PokerStars has signed up Brazilian poker player Felipe Mojave as its latest ambassador, joining fellow professional Andre Akkari and football stars Neymar Jr and Ronaldo Nazário, as a face of the brand in Brazil.
He has won almost $1m in career earnings, playing in the European Poker Tour, Latin American Poker Tour, and the Brazilian Series of Poker.
“I’m very happy to see my friend Felipe join the team,” said Neymar Jr said of Mojave. “We’ve played lots of poker together and I’ve learned a lot from him. Now the world will get to see what I already know – he’s one of the very best.”
As well as playing poker, Mojave also works as a commentator alongside Akkari on Brazilian TV poker shows Somos Poker on Fox Sports and Poker Night on Band Sports.
