BetPhoenix Player confirms receiving payment

betphoeniximageThe BetPhoenix Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player who asked SBR for assistance recovering a $2,160 balance owed to him since last summer has been paid in full.

SBR spoke with BetPhoenix management concerning the dispute and learned that part of the delay was caused by the player waiting for eWallet payouts to become available.

However, the player agreed to receive Western Union but did not receive his final payment through this method as the manager overseeing his case departed the company, and the player fell through the customer service cracks. Management claimed the situation was an outlier and not the norm. There are reportedly no other such situations.

BetPhoenix players who might be in need of payout assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.

The online sportsbook accepts bitcoin as a deposit option, which should be a means to avoid general payout complaints. SBR noted when adding bitcoin sportsbooks to the rating guide that the average rating for such bookmakers would be in the C range and subject to adverse change, as there are no processing middle-men getting in the way of delivering player withdrawals.

BetPhoenix had their rating adjusted to C- for their handling of the case and how long it went on, but if no other complaints are received regarding past due payouts, the rating will be adjusted back to C.
