Michal Hanák has returned to Fortuna Entertainment to take on the role of group chief sportsbook officer.
Hanák, who previously worked for the Eastern European operator between 1996 and 2012, will rejoin the company having most recently served as director for strategy at sports betting operator Niké.
In addition to his time with Fortuna and Niké, Hanák has enjoyed spells with Pari, Tipsport, PSK Croatia and Milenium (Poland).
Per Widerstrom, chief executive of Fortuna, said: “I am very glad that I can welcome Michal Hanák to our team.
“He is a highly experienced and creative professional and he will be an important addition for development of existing products as well as for development and implementation of new business.”
Meanwhile, Fortuna has also announced that Marek Biely is to step down from his role as general manager of the Fortuna SK subsidiary.
Andrej Sokol who currently serves as chief financial officer of Fortuna SK, will replace Biely in his role at the subsidiary.
