CORRECTION: Evolution takes over as Genting’s exclusive live casino provider

Live dealer specialist Evolution Gaming has secured an exclusive agreement to provide its live casino products to Genting Alderney, the online gaming arm of casino operator Genting Group.

Genting will move all of its live casino services to Evolution, having previously launched the products with partners ComTrade and Playtech.

Gentingcasino.com will go live before the end of this month with a full line-up of Evolution live dealer table games across desktop, tablet and smartphone devices. This includes Live Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Casino Hold’em, Three Card Poker and Immersive Roulette.

In addition, Genting’s players will be able to enjoy all of Evolution’s Red Room VIP services, including the recently launched Diamond VIP Blackjack game, plus native speaking dealer tables such as London Roulette.

A second-phase launch later in the year will see Genting further strengthen its live casino offering with a fully dedicated environment hosted at Evolution’s central studios in Riga, Latvia.

“As one of the leading land-based and online casino operators we constantly strive to deliver unique and innovative services to our players,” said Peter Nolan, managing director of Genting Alderney. “Following a strategic review we concluded that Evolution – with its clear focus on helping operators create meaningful differentiation for their brands – is the live casino provider best placed to meet the current and future needs of the Genting brand.”

Fredrik Osterberg, Evolution’s group chief strategy officer, added: “We are proud to be working with one of the world’s biggest and best-known casino brands and we have wanted to partner with Genting for a long time.

“The deal is a milestone for Evolution and aligned with our strategic focus on multi-channel solutions for land-based casinos. There are many opportunities for Genting to further develop their brand, their online presence and their services to mass market and VIP players.”

In addition to operations across the world, Genting currently operates more than 40 casinos across the UK under the Genting Casino and Genting Club brands. It owns five casinos in London including its flagship casino Crockfords, Colony Club, Maxims Casino Club, The Palm Beach and Cromwell Mint.

In addition, Resorts World Birmingham is scheduled to open later in 2015 and will be the UK’s first integrated destination leisure complex.

CORRECTION:

This article previously stated that Evolution replaced Slovenian technology provider ComTrade as Genting’s live casino provider. This has now been corrected as Genting’s live casino operations were provided by Playtech, as well as ComTrade.

Comtrade has been providing Genting’s in-house solution from its London venue Crockfords, which will continue to operate for the time being, with Evolution replacing Playtech as the operator’s core live casino provider.
