Popular US restaurant chain Hooters has unveiled a unique partnership with online daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings to provide its guests with the opportunity to win more than $300,000 in cash and prizes this football season.
The Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge, powered by DraftKings, unlocks free access for Hooters guests to put their fantasy football knowledge and skills to the test each week versus Jon Gruden, the former NFL coach and current NFL analyst for ESPN.
“Our guests are some of the most passionate and knowledgeable football fans in America,” said Carl Sweat, chief marketing officer of Hooters, which has 400 restaurants across the US. “So this year, Hooters is teaming up with DraftKings to be the first to bring our guests the excitement of daily fantasy sports, big cash prizes and an exclusive experience with Coach Gruden.

Starting this week, fantasy football fans are invited to grab an entry code at Hooters locations across the country to join the $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge. Using the code, fans can set a DraftKings lineup for free to play for $50,000 in cash and prizes from Hooters every week, awarded September 13th through October 18th.
The players that dominate each week will be handsomely rewarded with cash and exclusive prizes from Hooters, including the “Ultimate Gruden Experience” grand prize which includes a trip to South Florida to meet with Coach Gruden for a full on football immersion session.
Coach Gruden also features in the latest Hooters television ad campaign where he shows he is ready to take on all challengers for a shot at fantasy football glory.
