A Dobet Sportsbook player (SBR raitng D-) has filed a payout complaint with SBR.
The player opened his account a few weeks ago and deposited €5. He was wagering small amounts until he finally reached €100, which is the minimum amount that can be withdrawn from the online sports betting site.
He requested to be paid through Skrilll. The player uploaded his ID card as part of their KYC process.
After the funds were not sent to his Skrill account, the player searched Dobet on SBR and realized that they hold a D- rating, which is a ranking bad enough to be displayed in the worst sportsbook blacklist.
Sportsbook Review reported in June that Dobet displayed that they are “regulated” by the Costa Rican government, who do not offer gaming licenses or function as a sports bettor watchdog in any capacity.
Dobet Inc
Legal Certificate number: 3-101-625059
Registration authority: National Register (Republic of Costa Rica)
Competent regulatory authority: Republic of Costa Rica
In addition, the sportsbook almost entirely markets itself as a European bookmaker, despite being located in CR which is predominantly known as home to many North American facing sportsbooks, including some of the industry’s best that are featured on the top sportsbook list.
Sportsbook Review is following up with Dobet on this latest complaint.
