Canada-based NYX Gaming has appointed Leon Thomas to lead its operations in the US.
Thomas, who has been working as a marketing consultant at Caesars Interactive Entertainment for the past four months, will serve as managing director of US operations at the online gambling group.
Thomas previously held the position of managing director at online bingo company Tombola UK between 2011 and 2014.
During his time at Tombola UK, he helped to expand the company’s operations into Spain and Italy.
Thomas’ arrival comes at a time of transition for NYX Gaming, which floated on the Toronto stock exchange in January and recently acquired iGaming technology companies Chartwell Interactive and Cryptologic. Last month, NYX Gaming revealed record revenue for the second quarter of the year.
