TonyBet Sportsbook (SBR rating D) management has addressed the casino complaint originally reported by SBR one week ago.
A player claimed that after winning and losing €22,000 in the casino, he attempted to draw a payment for the remaining €3,000 in his account and encountered difficulty.
TonyBet has said that they have come to the conclusion that the player violated bonus terms and conditions.
His bonus was €500 and he wagered an average of €125 per casino game, which exceeded the amount allowed with the bonus promotion. TonyBet has said that the player should have bet a maximum of €50. He exceeded this by 2.5X.
A manager linked SBR to an applicable part of the TonyBet terms and conditions for bonus programs:
TonyBet Sportsbook: “In the interests of fair gaming, the user may place maximum single bets equal to or lower than 10% of the value of the bonus credited to their account until such time as the wagering requirements for that bonus have been met. Should the user not adhere to this rule, TonyBet Casino reserves the right to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings.”
Although the player’s bonus rollover was fully met, because he wagered €125 instead of maximum €50 per bet, he has fully lost his €3,000 in profit. In addition, he lost his deposit.
The handling of the complaint amounts to theft.
The player was allowed to deposit and wager, but the instant he wagered a penny over €50, he had only the chance of losing his balance in TonyBet, winning was never a possibility. In addition to having his winnings forfeited, he has not been reimbursed his initial deposit, meaning that he was absolutely freerolled by the Estonia based online sportsbook.
Sportsbook Review will blacklist TonyBet should the confiscation stand, and will update this article if the decision is reversed.
TonyBet players in need of assistance should submit a sportsbook complaint form.
