Online sportsbook Unibet (SBR rating C+) has addressed the payout complaint submitted by a Romanian player who hoped to make a withdrawal using Skrill.
The player deposited using Skrill and accumulated a balance of €621 slowly over time, before his limits were lowered by Unibet and his playing activity came to a stop.
Since the player stopped wagering with Unibet, the online sportsbook decided to cut off Skrill as a means for Romanian players to deposit and withdrawal, however, players located in other regions can continue to fund and withdraw from their Unibet account using Skrill.
The player hoped to be able to make a withdrawal as a one-time exception using Skrill to avoid the payout fees associated with other cashier options. SBR reached out to a Unibet manager to discuss the complaint, and was then told that the sportsbook would only discuss the complaint further with the player.
Customer service confirmed that the player would be unable to make a withdrawal using Skrill.
